Service Description
This 2 day course will be working from the life model using oil paint. We will look at how to construct the figure within a painting whilst understanding how each colour affects the whole. You will have the same model for both days. Supporting studies will be made, though the majority of the time will be spent developing your painting. All levels and abilities are welcome to join this course, some experience with life drawing and oil paint would be beneficial but not essential. Paul Muzni trained at Grays School of Art and The Slade in London under Euan Uglow and Norman Norris, where an interest and love of working from life grew. Paul is primarily a figurative artist however through the years he has discovered colour to be his motivator when painting from the nude. Paul has had teaching posts at Grays School of Art, Ravensburg Germany and in Edinburgh from his own studio The Life Room for the last 9 years.
