Service Description

Do you benefit from one on one tuition rather than being in a group setting, or do you benefit by one to one sessions as well as group classes? Alicia is manager of the school, and although she does love teaching finds that she can just about stretch to teaching private classes alongside school work. She is a classically trained portrait and figurative artist and works from life. If you would like some tuition in drawing or painting portraiture, still life or figure, Alicia will be delighted to assist you as 'a Peintre au Dimanche' -- the lovely French term for 'a Sunday painter' - currently the prime time she manages to squeeze in to paint during term time. You will either paint and draw in Alicia's private studio or in the north facing model room. The three hours will be tailored and dedicated to your development and attaining new skills on whichever subject you choose. If you would like to book more than one session the pricing is as follows and will be written up in an invoice for you. 1 Sunday session £230 per 3 hour class with a model 1 Sunday session no model £220 per 3 hour class 2 Sunday sessions no model £190 per 3 hour class (£380)

Cancellation Policy

We will provide a 50% refund if you give written advance notice up to 30 days before the course start date. 0% refund 30 days before a course starts. Please note there is an administration fee of £5 payable in respect of such refunds to cover payment processing fees. You will need to inform a member of administration staff in writing by emailing EDS at info@edinburghdrawingschool.co.uk. Additionally, if you withdraw for any reason after the course has started you will not be entitled to a refund. We are a small business and we depend on every booking to ensure that classes can go ahead. If a student is unable to attend a class due to illness, then EDS must be informed immediately so that the tutor can be notified. If you are missing a class because you suspect that you have developed Covid-19, please let us know immediately so that we can alert fellow student and tutors. Non-attendance of classes/workshops does not automatically mean a refund, however EDS will assess the circumstance
