Jane Weatherly

Jane teaches our hugely exciting and invigorating 'Developing Drawing Techniques' course, and, as you can see from the image here, students are guided through using a wide selection of materials to experiment with mark-making and surface textures.

Jane is a very experienced tutor - she has been teaching for many years at The Edinburgh College of Art - and she has become a firm favourite here at the School.

Although her courses are suitable for absolute beginners, those with a little drawing experience really get the most our of her teaching, as she literally 'opens one's eyes' up to possibilities in drawing and mono-printing and this helps develop one's personal practice.
